Updated October 10, 2026. This policy covers TockTW, the private Taiwan edition at https://tocktw.com. It does not describe the separate public tockhk.com site.
Information used
Hosting systems may record IP addresses, browser information, request times and requested URLs for operation and security. WordPress stores authorized account information and authentication cookies. Public account registration and newsletter signup are not offered in this edition.
Email sent to our shared inbox includes your address, message and any attachments you supply. It is used to handle correspondence, tips, rights and correction requests. Do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive records.
Browser storage and external services
Display preferences can be saved in browser storage. Clear site storage in your browser to remove them. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent sign-in. The site uses WordPress on hosted infrastructure; hosting and email providers process data needed for their services, potentially outside your country. External source links take you to independent sites with their own privacy practices.
This notice does not authorize optional advertising or analytics tracking. Such services require a separate configuration and privacy review before introduction; we do not claim a comprehensive tracker audit from checking a private page.
Retention and your requests
Account, security and correspondence records can remain while needed for operation, resolving requests and applicable obligations, including in protected backups. A fixed retention schedule and provider inventory must be confirmed before public launch. We do not promise immediate erasure from backups.
Contact TockHK@tockhk.com with “TockTW privacy” to request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied, or to ask about its use. Proportionate verification may be needed. Some records may need retention for legal obligations or disputes. This is an email request route, not an automated deletion service.
Accountability and changes
The Tock Network site operator can be reached through the shared inbox. The operator’s legal identity and any required service address remain to be confirmed for public launch; this preview does not assert an unverified corporate entity. Material changes will be reflected in this notice and its date.
